Our Story

Behind Vilhelm Hertz are the father-son duo Gustav and Egon. In his 50s, Egon was struck by a rare nerve disease that doctors could not cure.

As his mobility deteriorated, he long rejected the idea of using a cane, driven by a strong conviction not to be disabled.

To avoid a traditional cane, he instead resorted to improvised solutions such as umbrellas.

The situation changed significantly when Kristoffer Vilhelm entered his business one day to present the newly designed cane.

Egon was immediately sold.

This meeting marked the beginning of a collaboration to change the way you see the cane. From a tool to design art.

Vilhelm Hertz was founded in a small workshop, where over the years we have specialized in manufacturing aids such as canes and crutches.

Our products have undergone constant innovation and improvement over the past 10 years.

Every time we receive feedback, we take it seriously and work to improve durability, functionality and comfort. We are dedicated to quality and user-oriented design, and we strive to exceed user expectations.
